Thanks, that's very reassuring. I was afraid that the show might not have caught on (since I rarely like things most other people like) and that it might be over. It would be a shame because it is a beautifully crafted show with exceptional actors. I know that in our cheap society, it seems most people like glamor trash that's devoid of real art, talent, and depth. I can't get over what gets top ratings these days.
And as for the greedy studio heads, i figure it's like this, "hey, do you want a show or not??" It's sad how people don't want to pay for what makes them rich in the first place. If they're not on track with their exponential growth rate of wealth, year after year, they get stingy with those who are responsible for their success. Of course, there are alot of unions (in other arenas) who push and push until they run businesses into the ground, but something tells me, in the case of T.V. and Hollywood, that this is not the case. I dunno, maybe it's the wine, dining, and limousines.
